You normally find them down the beach

Slipper limpets are normally stacked 3 or 4 on top of each other, a whitish pink colour shell. they are easier to see on sandy patches but can be found in rock pools, around pillars much like any other shellfish. If there are lots of empty limpet shells on the beach you know you are in the right place and the tide does not have to go out that far before you can start collecting them.
They are good for freezing and can be scraped out easily with a round ended knife.
Collect and freeze to build you bait supply up for the winter when bait is harder to collect.
