I have a slosh20, but i want a backup reel, that can handle rough ground around the same price range any ideas.

Cant go wrong with an ambasador 6500. do a nice job and you could probably pick one up for roughfly £40 second hand.

The 6500 isnt really suitable on rough ground and you'll almost certainly lose loads of end tackle because of its low retrieve ratio compared to something like a slosh. You'd be far better off getting another slosh if you want a backup reel though £40 is a good price for the 6500 if it's in good nick but I'd use it for fishing cleanish ground only

The 6500 had always been fine for me over roughf ground. Not once has one broke or anything for me. Ive used them for boat fishing and everything with no probs. The retrieve ratio may be slightly low compared to other newer reels, but it still makes a good all round reel in my opinion.
