Hi there
Would be interesting to see all reviews on this "matthinkley" thats if there are any ?
I dont use them griplocks myself but i have heard that getting sizes to fit certain rod buts has caused some trouble.
The idea is a good one and i like it myself, but as i say what ive heard is that thay tend to start to slip around the rod when the moister of an evenings fishing sets in and you need to pack them out to get them to fit tighter.
Coasters i guess can be uncomfortable its just getting used to them, wouldnt be without them now though  |

MATTHINKLEY
I have the abu griploks on my Century, greys and Abus, they are good,if you cast down the butt they DO lock properly but if you cast up the butt as EUGE says, they do tend to come slack due to moisture ingress, even then it is only a quick turn then its tightened up,well worth the money |

Yep, agree - I use them on my Abus and Greys - provided they're packed I can't fault them - I'd never use coasters again myself. |
