no tried today no luck at weybourne where you from
if you go into yuor acc and then your info you can put in your location then peeps can see what area you're from and tell you whats happening localy
cheers anyway they will be here soon along with the bigger bass i hope

as this is posted in the isle of wight forum i would hazzard a guess as that where hes from any how i been trying for mackeral for a few weeks all ive cause is gar fish when trying to get mackeral

sandown shanklin area that side of the island there was loads last week at shanklin near the car park but gar fish where the only things following no other species

I used to love catching those little buggers lol will have to have a look sunday see if i can get any.

Were you doing it of the beach or boat and wot were u using?

was casting off the rocks just off the car park caught a few there using a spinning rod with a ledger spinner then as the tide went out i walked along the concrete sea defence and cast off the end and caught quite a few then

I will pop down there asap lol. I used to fish of there all the time almost every day b4 they put the rocks there. mainly night fishing tho

ive done around 60 on just a few trips out on the boat the ventnor area is crawling with them
