Not as yet eyeless, 5 boats out from Newton last sunday, all in different directions, word on the radio was garfish about but no mackerel.
We had lots of other species as usual on the boats rays, blond and thornback, smoothhounds, bull huss, loads of doggies, conger and one codling! but as yet no mackerel, although they have seen some further west ..... I will keep you posted because if we see them off shore they will also be close in of course. |
