all fish are beautiful when you are not catching (except silver eels)
but what do you think is the most beautiful of them all
mine has to be the turbot i have never caught one on a rod , plenty in our nets years ago

| cooko wrasse because the colours are amazing on them ive never caught one but ive seen them in a book and there beutiful |

| Have to go with jimjam and the cuckoo wrasse, caught one years and years ago, off Sark in the Channel islands and it was an absolutely stunning fish. |

| the mackerel.... take a good look next time you haul out 'just a mackerel'.... have a look at the colours, the shape and the way the fins fit into recesses in the body to give it least resistance at speed, a wonder of design. |

yep they are nice then the light shines on them all them oily colours are great |

| Mackrel are the best fighting fish in british waters lb for lb. I wouldnt like to have to fight a 20lb mackrel even on heavey boat gear. They are the fastest preditor we have. A vey underated fish due to the fact that most folk haul them out on heavey gear. Try spinning for them on a light spinning rod and them give me your opinion. keith |

| when i used to go on my mates boat i used to take my nephews 6ft telescopic river rod and use that with 5 feathers great fun and used my boat rod for the bass |

| The best looking fish i've caught isn't a sea fish, but a grayling. they have got to be the most colourfull and the dorsal fins on them are amazing. |

I'm a sucker for electric blue so male cuckoo wrasse, gurnard's but most of all the dragonet do it for me (caught one in scotland 20yrs ago)  |
