hi can any body help me out i bought a grauvell rocky L baitcasting reel i never used one of these reels before what is the push button on the side of the reel for, and what is the magnetic brake button for, any information on this reel wouuld be great thanks |

hello mate did you get instructions with it if not why don't you google it and see if anyone has used it and made a review, sorry cant help more im same as welsh never used one gl.

On multipliers the push button on the side is usualy the free spool button. As for the magnetic brake button, im not sure. Is it actually a button or an adjustable knob ? |

yep welsh, the push button is to free spool and the knob on the side is so you don't birdnest the looser you have it the brakes pull apart to allow it to run faster , not a good idea if you aint used it before, on some reels they have numbers 1 to 10 like the 7ht , if you have it tighter the magnetic brakes slow the spool and if you got a bit near the handle that can unscrew that's your drag system.

ya theres a button next 2 the push button theres numbers round it 0 to 10 you twist it with your thumb from 0 up 2 ten i check a abu multiplier on ebay and it had the same buttton, and it said its a dial for the magnetic brake, witch gives great line out control speed -this would help prevent over runs whan casting |
