well that was that a good night fishing had by Tom n I we caught lots n lots of fishies!!
4 whiting 1 was a good size!! i think 6 pouting tiny buggars... (as usual)
1 wee ling .. bless it for hanging on in there squidgy funny thing!!
oh and 1 crab lol
alas NO rays blaaaaaaah we were wanting to catch our first!
all caught on various coctails including squid, mackeral, rag and lug worm
had a good walk along earlier on low tide and we dig a few SNAKES of lug up! about 8-10 inches long!!
weather stayed dry got a bit blustery around 1.30am so decided to give it another hour alas nothing caught after that!
back home glass o wine n off to bed for me tom whacked n fell asleep in car on way back bless

yes it was a ling cod sorry i'l use its correct name!! i have caught one there before too only wee about 6 inches long and at Walmer too we got one i have a photo..

these ones lateral fins are jagged tho if you look close we had a lot of discussion about this one with friends and takle shop owners and they came up with the conclusion that it was ling cod!!

Try getting out on a boat Sue I think you and Tom would enjoy it. Fish tend to big larger offshore. Saves all that casting, tell Tom all he has to do is dangle his worm in the water. Lol,  |

yes thats our next thing out on a boat !
its snowing good here today so i not going anywhere lol tom has gone out fishing took his dad haha
