Hello Matty , i'm thinking of fishing Leysdown for ray on Saturday but it depends on the weather . Lots of rain Friday so i'm not sure coz it's really shallow there and then showers Saturday .If there's that much rain Friday i would stay away from the rivers . It's not the immediate rain that's the problem but the freshwater run off from the land .

Probably the deeper water marks like Deal Pier and the Dover piers . Saying that i will still probably try Leysdown . Sometimes i wish i took my own advice ......

Admiralty pier or the breakwater or boat fishing, for the Admiralty its a £5 for members or £6 for non the breakwater is the same i think and you get the boat at 08.30 then it picks you up again at 15.30. A good idea is to look up the dover sea angling assoc web site.

Deal pier normally has a bloke who comes round and sells you a ticket . I can't remember if he charges by the rod . Best to Ring Steve Allmark's Shop ,Channel Angling , which is right by the entrance to the pier plus he can tell you how it's fishing and what baits to use .
