Hi. Most of you probably know about this but its a top tip for catching dab. Buy or dig some lug and wrap them up (newspaper prefered) If you dig them make sure you gut them before freezing. (you can smack them on the ground to toughfen them up too.) Then freeze them untill your about to go fishing. Then the night before you go, take as many packs as you need and place them ontop of somwhere warm. e.g external boiler or even a radiator indoors (if you can obtain permision off the wife first lol.) This will thaw them out quickly and make them go all sticky and abit smelly. Then use them to fish for dab. They love it. winking

I wrote a similar article some time ago when we had been fishing Blue Mink out of Fleetwood some joker had put all the unused lug in my tackle box well 3 days later when I found it, it smelt to high heaven so I froze it and took it on the following trip, Needless to say I outfish everyone on board and they were using fresh.
