| Hi all i haven been sea fishing for a few years however here i am ready to give it another go, can you tell me what porthcawl is fishing like at the moment ??? many thanks |

wellcome chrisrhondda, due to weather i doubht porthcall will be fishing well, the "pier" wall should be worth a go soon as weather calms down allso try a beach at the caravan parks "bassman" can give you directions keep us posted on how you get on
tight lines  |

Hi,
I've been fishing at Porthcawl a couple of weekends in February, I didn't blank, but there wasn't anything big enough to keep if you know what I mean.
I'm hoping to have a couple of sessions over Easter, providing the weather's OK.

| newton beach on a big night tide is the best mate but not sure what its like at the moment as i aint been for about a month |

Thanks for the info guys, my m8's gone to get some mackrel and squid today. High tide is 0530 on the 20th so we're gonna give it a try off the wall.  |

Hi all i went to porthcawl like i said that morning and that's all we was reeling in was doggies, but i went again last night and i had 1 whiting and 2 small coddling so things are looking up lol. We fished off the lower pier always.
Anyone fished the knap lately?  |
