good evening room we had a match tonight and a disscusion about penel rigs is a pennel rig a two hook or a one hook trace some 1 pls help

A pennel rig is 1 snood with 2 hooks on it . Generally the first hook is threaded through the bait and the second hook is past through the top of it . It is nornally used with larger baits such as squid , fish baits or larger cocktails. Hope this helps. |

normally in a match situation a pennel rig will be classed as a 2 hook rig. even though its used for large baits ive seen 2 fish caught on a pennel rig a few times, so its an advantage  |
