Hi folks, Im new around here and will be doing some fishing while based at Little Haven. Anyone know any good spots around there? I wondered if Nab Head at St Brides was same Nab head Ive read others posting about? Also, is it any good around Dale or St Anns head? Not too bothered as to what i catch, it is march after all!
thanks |

thanks BBMan, but do you have any more specific locations that you know of? I cant cast very far - old shoulder injury, kind of restricts spots which arent very deep. Have you ever fished the nab head? |

Thanks BBman, Im going out again thats for sure, probably this weekend if I can persuade the long haired sgt major to give me a few hours leave. Having read some of the posts here it looks like lug or rag and squid on a pennel rig are the best for bass, then cast into the shallows of a clean beach. Is that your experience? Sorry for sucking you dry but this site is a great way to learn how to sea fish! |

i fish from milford haven right the way up to lawrenny and bbm is right you can virtualy put a pin in a map on the coast within the haven and you shoul catch there he is right (again) on distance the fish (especially bass and flatties )prefer it closer in about 50 -100 yrds out is plenty far enough i find rag worm and lug the best baits around in the haven you can tip them with a flapper if you like to increase your bite rate
anyway good luck and good fishing |
