Last year I made several trips around the west, south west and south coast.
From several outings I only had one cod(55cm) and one bass(67cm) that were big enough to take home.
I will say this, I have never blanked whilst sea fishing but it seems to me that the larger fish are few and far between.
Does anybody know of any spots that are fishing as brilliantly as the magazines claim? |

Alledgedly, i hear it is all around chesil and the abbotsbury area. |

I've only ever had undersize fish down there.
Apart from the mackerel.
