I know this is primarily a UK site, but if anyone else is peed off with British weather and is going to fish southern Portugal over the next 3 weeks then give me a shout - some company would be brilliant and get me away from Higher Authority who just wants to look at kitchen showrooms - what is wrong with them????
Doing west coast tomorrow just North of Sagres, but fancy drowning worms anywhere on the Algarve until 28th.

Judging from your previous posts wotno, you probably have the most knowledge on this site of fishing in Portugal!
If I remember right I think concrete or rocket fished Portugal a while ago, perhaps they could help you out? |

You're right Nem/Rocket - I recall Concrete posted a report from Lagos in Portugal a couple of months back.
If you spot this post Concrete, I'd be interested to know where you got the best results over here. Maybe I'll PM if you don't respond.
The contrast in Lagos (which is on the SW corner of Portugal) is stark. On the South coast a mile away it is like a millpond - no waves and far too clear to catch fish who get spooked easily. 10 miles away is the west coast where I fished today - the Atlantic rollers were enormous and I couldn't get a 5 oz Gemini gripper lead to stay in place.
But who said fishing was going to be easy! |
