Fishing Cooden Beach

Tried fishing the incoming tide last night at cooden. I gave up after only two casts!
Sea was thick with sea weed. anyone else finding the same thing?
this was very annoying after setting up in the dark and rain.
is there a way of knowing about weed or is there a time/ weather condition that weed is more promanant?

Hi,The reason for the weed is due to the big blow over the weekend and after which stir's up the sea(hence lot's of weed)
