Most people I've spoken to have said it just dosen't work.
I've tried it through the summer and caught nothing on the north-east coast.
Having said that, people who were using fresh bait didn't catch either.
Maybe it was just a bad day when I've used it. Im gonna try it in the winter when the whiting are about if they wont take it, I'm not sure anything will
I also saw another one called "Gulp!" or something but it costs £8 a packet Im gonna try that as well.
Good luck  |

So does the Gulp bait have an expiry date on it? and how long can you keep it for? sounds like a good back up for the times when you run out of fresh bait. |

HI As to a best before date.No the smart bait that I use doesnt come with a use by date just a batch no.
I Have never really had it that long for it to go off. Anyway when the fishing is good, bait runs out and I move onto the smartbait.
Also I have noticed that when used in conjunction with real bait it gives better results as the scent trail is stronger and it brings in the fish.
I use the fish sticks with sandeels and it works everytime. It brings them in and they take the eel.
 Lovely stuff and when I run out of real bait the mackeral and power worms work lovely.
8) Hope this helps I know they work but nothing can replace fresh bait but these come a close second when the bait shops miles away.  |
