|
|
Hi all,
Forgot to ask in my last post. What is the best way to fish for Mullet, i.e. rigs, baits etc etc.
When we were at Cockenzie, there was a lot of Mullet activity next to the walkway, just off the outflow. One of the guys there suggested we try using a simple float rig with some bread on the hook?
Would this same technique be used if fishing directly intothe outflow at Torness for Mullet?
Regards

Around here, it's get in your boat and use your hands
If that floated bread method is true Fox, I sure would like to give it a go! |

| From what I've seen (although there's no such thing as mullet round here) the best way is to chum the area you'll be fishing (bread and mackrel mashed up) and just float with a small hook and bread. I've seen that method used loads of times and with good results. |
