I have just dismantled 2 Abu 700's. In doing so I have purposly rendered the level winds inoperative - level winds are for gays.. The side plates and cages are now in the dishwasher (minus the working parts)
This is all because the reels have never(up until now) left my boat and are in what can only be described as a disgraceful order.
Short of shot blasting I couldnt think what else would get them back into a proprly useable condition, so the dishwasher got them.
