Just came back from a session at Battery Point today - will write report later.
Nothing much doing today, tide was a 12.6, there was no wind and it was very peaceful. I hear there are a few codling about but i expect next month it will all kick off.
cheers

I went to Ladye Bay this weekend. Quite a lot of people trying their luck.
Quite quiet fishing, not many nibbles.
I took a small codling ,14inches, around 1 1/2 after high, day time on some frozen black lug and mackerel, some small whiting, one in size, a damn green eel and 2 doggies.
A lot of guys blanked, my lucky streak continues. 8 trips now in the last 10 weeks after 15 year break, no blanks.
Happy Days.
Although these are nothing to write home about, these will do for me. When all i was used to was a chill out sesh down the mouth of the river don in Aberdeen flattie bashing, to moving down here and fishing the channel and catching NO flatties..........YET!
Happy Days. |
