Hello, just bought a used Daiwa Interline linear Surf rod.
mf-su-xs130mm its the 13.5ft model.
Never used one before and am looking for a good general purpose reel to go with it, to be able to cast as far as possible.
Planning to use 0.17 20lb braid, For beach and rock fishing. Spinners, mackeral feathers and a bit of bait fishing.
Any advise would be appreciated from those experienced with an interline rod.
thanks in advance,
Paul Shetland |

Dont think i like the idea of using a multiplier with braid, i have tried and it wasnt pretty! if you are set on using braid then a good fixed spool would be a better bet. if you go with mono then i would go for a shv 20, but it wont cover all the techniques you have mentioned. good luck with it buddy |

aye braids a bad way to go especially if you cast and it wraps around your thumb.... trust me on that. |
