Just to tell you that I used to launch at rhoss on sea, the slipway is really good and it used to be free. The amount of revenue it created must have been high because of the high volume of boating traffic. Imagine my horror last year after returning to boat fishing when I was asked for a launching permit at £90 plus £20 registration fee Plus £17 each time I launched. I worked out that if I was to launch there for 6 months of the year it would cost me over £1,000 plus bait plus fuel for the boat plus fuel trailering it there and back. What planet are they living on? I myself will never fish there again and I suspect that what they are doing is illeagle. God knows where the money goes. I have now taken up fishing at morecambe, £12 for the year plus a one of payment to have your vessel datataged. "Wales" you can keep it!

Blimey mate, they are having a larf ain't they. I thought Hayling was dear at £10/launch but that is taking the p**s. Actually best one round here is Portsmouth Docks - £2 a throw but Chichester is nearly as good - £20/year and launch as often as you like.
