the best place to get them in south wales is on barry island beach at low tide with a bag of salt just pour some over the hole wait for it to surfice and with a firm grip hold on to it and slowly pull it out. |

Do you have a sandy beach nearby?, preferably near a sandbank of some description. Get down there at low water springs and go for a wander looking carefully for any sign of razors - usually a few broken/empty razor shells. If you find some that is a sure sign that you are in a razor area and you should start looking for the tell-tale holes in the sand slightly smaller than a 5p. to pour some salt into. If the hole does not "produce" it is more likely to be a black lug hole (also good bait) which you can dig or use a bait pump on. |

pobble beach at three cliffs is good for razors, low tide ,can be a bit small and its a killer walk to get to but often worth it just take the big ones leave the small ones , the beach can be good for bass if conditions are ok wind water temp etc |
