fished blue pool

ok as i said in my last post i will report on my nights fishing in blue pool
me and two mates got there at 6pm tide was 2150 so we had loads of hours.
first cast we all used lug just so we had time to sort everything out like all the other bait to no bites at all.
my mate pip then caught a gurnard and my other mate monkey caught one straight after one on lug and one on mackeral
then monkey caught a small bass and we think is a rockling it was as black as anything ive seen also a mackeral was caught so i got the spinning rod out and caught about ten as fresh is always best.
i finally hooked my first fish of the night which was a doggy.
then my mate had a bite dead on an hour before top tide which we knew smoothhound will be showing up and yes it was a smooth hound.
then to top things off at then end of the night my mate line went off to the right where he thought he had snagged and snapped.
about ten minutes later monkey reeled in with a nice 2 1/2 pound bass
but the funny thing is he had caught pips trace which had the bass on so were not sure who could claim the fish so they gave it to me.
as you can see i caught hardly anything but it was a brilliant day/night fishing.

so heres all the fish we caught

1 smoothe hound
1 dogfish
2 bass 2 1/2 pound was one
1 rockling of some sort we think?
and about 15 mackeral

just found out that the black fish we had was a weever.
