Yes Edgey is normally a wreck over the weekends

Seriously though - you can

Go to Langstone Harbour and ask about there, some of the guys do charter out there

Go to Lock Stock and Tackle in Southsea and ask in there, they gave me a number for a guy that does, but I have lost it

Put a post on www.beachandboat.co.uk, the guys on there are 90% solent based, and most of them do boat etc - they sure as heck will know

There are so many wrecks in the solent area it is almost unbelievable. Get a chart and look for the little sign which is a circle of dots with "Wk" alongside it. There are dozens of them and some are marked with buoys when you get out there becuase they are a possible shipping hazard. There are several which are reachable in a small boat and I have done some of them, most notably near No Man's Land fort. I would not go outside the Solent without a fairly large boat but on a fine day, a small outboard jobbie would get you to a lot of the wrecks within 20 minutes. Well worth having a go mate.

What do you mean? I'm already cod fishing.

Might be going Friday evening over low water. Wonder how many codling we'll catch this time.

The only thing that concerns me is the major rainfall they are predicting. Even more freshwater coming down the rivers sad sad
