Never fished this particular estuary wildy but most fish the same. If there are bass in there then spinning could be useful. Most estuaries have a lot of flounders, dabs etc and therefore a flapper rig with ragworm would be ideal. This can catch most fish expected to be there. Sandeels are also quite a good bait for bass or flatties. Either use a 2 or 3 hook flapper with 1.0 or 2.0 hooks, depending on the size of the fish you will be catching. Best off starting small and then work your way up. I'm unsure if you have thornbacks in the estuary as there are in some. If so use some 3.0/4.0 hooks on a pennel with a mackrel fillet. Hope you get another reply from someone who knows this estuary but if not these are some tips to help you if fishing blind.
