first walton on the bend near the pier misty start then cleared but no fish to be had,baited squid lug rag ,but a ok day with me boy 8O

so today full of hope that the big ones are waiting for me in droves :roll: , Drove down to harwich ah-penny pier,lost 3 leads and leaders,and got pissed with the boats coming in to close. :evil: .
the down tide gos out blody quick there like a tidal bore :!: but blanked again :? still had a good time the boy tried his hand at float fishing.baited the same as yesterday. :roll:

oh well theres always NEXT time :lol:

Ha'penny Pier is a working pier, so I'm afraid that the boats have more of a right to it than the anglers.

Perhaps it was a combination of the spring tide (near springs tend to fish better) and the hot sunny weather (dull overcast/rainy days tend to fish better)
