Looking to take my son and a couple of friends out boat fishing for the day from bridlington, anyone any advice re which boat, bait and any other info.

I can help you on this one.
A good friend of mine has a charter boat business and I highly reccomend him. I go out fishing with him and he's a geat guy.
The boat is Rachel K and is owned by Peter Firth.
It's 4 pound an hour and he goes for 3, 6 or 8 hour trips leaving daily from Bridlington Harbour.
Contact him on 07932 645 770 to book. He's going every day at the moment.

you will get plenty of whiting and dabs but not much else
unbelievable
the amount of tope out there in brid bay and no charter boats target them
