Southend pier 26th April

Fished 2 hours of low water today and had 3 bass 1 sizable about 2.5lb, lost quite a nice fish and had another 1/2 dozen bites, all fish coming on jelly crabs on the east point.

A jelly crab is a crab that has just popped its shell and is still alive.

Its not luck, you just need to remember the 3 main rules to fishing, firstly picking the correct tides and venue and making sure your using the correct bait.
