As lm naive at sae fishing.I was wondering what are the best type of lures to use.?Not forgetting,lm only fishing of Gorleston Pier for now.Until l get a bit more expeirence.I have seen quite a few diffrent types for sale on e bay,and find it quite confussing,weather they are just as good or better than say rag worm. |

Hi Wizz, Really depends what your hopeing to catch really, if Mackerel are around feathers are your best bet, if not I always find a good all round lure is the Dexter Wedge which is ideal for Bass and many other species and comes in different sizes and has a bit of weight about it so is better for casting but saying that I dont really know your venue to be honest and whats likely to be caught there.

When sea fishing probably best to use feathers as has been mentioned or most silver metal spinners. As small silver fish are the most common bait off the shores they are most natural |
