10 years and I am back fishing!! Mate just bought a fishermans cottage at Orford (2 doors from Jolly Sailor Pub) result!! Off to Aldeburgh on Saturday and will let people know how it is fishing. Great site and I hope you will all teach me everthing I have forgotten and never knew!! First question, I am looking for some wet weather gear, I don't need a flotation set up as I only beach cast (My stomach can not handle it!!) Any starters where and how much I should pay. Thanks |

Hello misterbenn, welcome to the site and welcome back to fishing! I am sorry I cant answer your question though personally as I have always purchased Sundridge 2 piece flotation suites, mainly for their second to none after sales service and general quality
Actually it would be interesting to start a wet weather gear debate
Cheers

misterbenn, How is Orford these days? I spent the first 22 years of my life living there but haven't been in Orford for the last 3 years. I now live in Dublin and have to say that the fishing close to Dublin isn't anywhere as near as good as Orford Ness or Aldeburgh. My father was the attendant of the lighthouse so I had easier access to the beach than most at the time.
Say hello to Jacqui in the Jolly for me next time you are in.
Rgds,
