Fishing report Blackpool promenade 17/2/07 + Photos

The number of catches has been sporadic over the last few weeks. Ive heard reports of people landing 3-4 lb cod earlier in the week around Rossall,Cleveleys and 2 lb flatties on Blackpool promenade. For me it has been shi@e. Last night,as with the last 5 visits, I did not get a bite.The next posting if I dont catch anything will be a "FOR SALE" notice. Tell a lie I caught a carrier bag,no joke.

Next to me a young lad called James caught his first Dog Fish.

Now thats not fair Mr C. I resisted making any remarks about said gloves on the basis that the poor lad's caught better fish than me this weekend. By the way Jules, where did they come from and do you think they'd suit me?!! :lol: :lol:

When today, my mates little lad got 2lb flattie thats all we got on the wall at blackpool near boating pool.
