Stokes Bay 03/02/12

The enjoyable thing i find when fishing in the cold is the lack of anglers happy

I got down to Stokes bay around 1900. (hw 2000), set up and cast out. i had my first bite within 2 min, reeled in and nothing, same with the other rod. I recast both and had another bite more or less straight away. This time a little Whiting. This set the scene for the rest of the night. packed up at 2345. I had around 20 Whiting, a Pout and missed loads more. A couple of the Whiting were keepers happy

bait was squid, rag and blacks
It was a busy nights fishing and i had the beach all to myself happy

Well done simon a couple of keepers BONUS.Nice to have a beach to yourself m8y.Put my rods away a bit early I think crying

told the missus I wont be going until april.What a fool I am.

Cheers guys. It was a good trip. Thats it for me now too Daz. Im out again in May, when the sister in law comes over from Texas for three weeks.

Thats a shame m8 would of been good to see you at the comp in april big grin

could do with a few other faces old and new too,still there's time yet.

Well done
