Am off to Chesil on Fri nite for my first ever sesh...... anybody here have any tips regarding tackle, the location, casting distance, baits n rigs etc please???

fished abbo from 8.30 am -9pm saturday.just wyting and dogs.browners had a 10lb+ cod friday nite with metalmark.cod starting to thin out now.
