anyone else in the area having the same luck as me?
last 4 fishing trips and i have caught next to nothing.

i've fished at paull, makro and hornsea and the best i've managed lately is a couple of rockling and flatties. am i doing something wrong lol

Some areas can be like that. Some pack there rods up from jan to march and wait for the spring species to arrive. Royboy will be best on this area winking

In my opinion you cant beat all year round flattie bashing on the humber but then again i am a flattiefanatic happy

was doing really well before christmas, plenty of whiting and few cod, just seems to have dried up now.

i dont think the two inconsiderate guys at hornsea helped though when they decided to jet ski in front of where we were fishing!!!!! angry angry

we decided it was a lost cause and packed up after that.

your best on the beach at the moment theres loads of fish coming out at spurn i had nearly 40 whitings and i was only fishing one rod theres fish coming out at north and south of withernsea in the river theres only flatties at the moment with the odd cod there was 9 cod caught on the point on sunday if you let me know when your going again ill meet you and you can fish with me

Unfortunately you get those pesky things on most beaches. Summer comes with its own challenges on some beaches with bathers and boats. They can see you fishing and will go near your lines anyway.
