I notice that the number of guests are increasing 77 online at the time of posting this. To those viewing, why not join? and have your say and participate in all the forums. After all as stated on the home page it costs nowt to join and who knows you may just be able to teach us old hands a thing or two.
Cheers

I think you may find that there's quite alot of members browsing the forum without signing in and they would show up as guests.
I was just doing that.
The little security wiggly line eyeball wobbler signing in box is not always crystal clear for us oldies and I get it wrong sometimes so I more often than not read the forum as a guest and only sign in if there is something that I want to contribute to.
Like now. |

There will be a lot of non members but also a lot of bots. When i ran a fishing club the website was getting 800 hits a day and majority of them was bots |

I was just browsing as a guest for a long while before becoming a member may be 3 months. But to those browsing now if your new to sea fishing the forum will help more than you can imagine and to those who have fished a while your input would be very helpful.

Basically most search websites like Google for example send out loads of these bots to trawl the internet to find websites like this one. They then relay the information back to Google so when some types sea fishing website. Google will display the correct results. That's the correct way bots work. There are also malicious ones but we wont go into this |

Thanks Keith,
I'm still having problems getting to grips with this new electricity thingy (steam was much easier to understand!) lol
Cheers,
Geoff
PS/ Not even sure if lol is 'laughing out loud' or 'lots of laughs' (or indeed something else), but either will do. |
