Arrived at Hayling just in time to dig some worms only to be greeted by the expected wind. Started fishing at the Eastoke end about 7 (HW 10:30), there were a few others already fishing. Wind dropped, but there was a big sea (no weed), the whiting came from the first cast and were on the bait within minutes of the bait being in the water. No other species had a look in. We had the most whiting to date and took 5 home which were made into fish pie. |
