Well i braved the cold, well not sure if it was brave or pure stupidity lol
Havent been out in a couple of months and needed to clear the head a bit, got there just before low water, and from the off i was catching although it was whiting city im not complaining...... Also had a couple of nice size doggies, which again if im catching im happy, by 3 oclock the count was 56 whiting and 2 doggies!!! (i actually got fed up not having time for a cuppa)
was fishing 2 up 1 down and 3 up clipped, and was rarely a time when all hooks were not full. baits were rag, squid and because of the kamikazi attitude of the whiting also had a few that i stripped and used and all baits caught well. But in the end the weather won, especially when the ice started forming on my tent!!!!
tight lines all......... time for me to hang the rods up till warmer times lmao |

Must have kept you busy, well done on getting something other than the whiting. We haven't had any doggies at hayling since november. |

I was fishing just down from the white house water was pretty flat all nite and no weed at all!
I will admit the doggies came as a bit of a surprise to me, but given the water
is warmer than normal according to the weather buoys i am surprised there hasnt been more.. |
