In aid of the Help for Heroes charity
EVERYONE is welcome to fish from ANY forum, you don't even have to be a member of a forum, just turn up on the day and join in. The aim is to raise money for a great charity.
The date is going to be Sunday 15th January 2012 High water 14:55hrs 8.4m
This will be a pegged match, with match cards given on the day. All insize fish to be measured and checked with the angler next to you. It is up to the angler if catch & release is practised. All kept fish to be dispatched of humanely.
Entry fee is £10 what ever monies are going to be raised will be split down the middle ie, half to the charity half to be used as prize money for 1st 2nd 3rd with zonal prizes to be announced.
We will meet on the promenade at 5 Bar gate Cleveleys at 11:00hrs last book in at 12:00hrs
first cast on the whistle 12:15hrs last cast 1730hrs
Then back to the location for brews prize giving, raffle and hopefully food whilst the cards are being checked and the results verified :yeah2: :yeah2: :yeah2:
There will also be a prize for the biggest fish :thumb:
This is a cause very dear to my heart, being ex-army, so I hope you will all please make the effort to attend if you can. Although this is a match, the emphasis is on raising money and having FUN whilst doing it!
