Hi all Merry Christmas
Well I took the boat out today (Boxing Day) fished River Itchen & Greenland buoy from 9.30am to 2.15pm, we had 1 small Bass, 4 Pout and 71 Whiting!!!
Started off in the Itchen but got crabbed to death and got a smell Bass, then about 10am we moved down to Greenland buoy, first drop down and the Whiting started to bite! They just kept coming not stop all day, I had 4 double hook ups and my mate had 2.
Used rag worm and mackerel , baited hokki’s , one up one down rig , most whiting all between 1lb and 1 ½ lb .
76 Fish !! that’s what I call a good days fishing ! See photos below

hi mike
are you sure you left two lol as i could only find one whiting fished of salterns car park, flat calm when i went out just a bit of chop on coming ashore only in the tinny so prob wasnt as far out as you and left my bigger leads in the car so wasnt holding bottom very well, but at least it wasnt a blank prob have another bash later in the week.
