Hi-I am lookong to replace my headlamp with the lighter LED version. I want to buy a rechargeable one preferably with the battery pack belt mounted.
Any advice / views would be welcome
ps had an evening on Hornesea North beach last night and despite the squalls had a good night with plenty of whiting to 1.5lb |

No problem, look at the selection of "Cree" LED jobs on ebay. I have a couple of the ones which take AAA batteries and one which is fitted with a rechargeable 3.7 battery. They are both equally good and I use rechargeable AAA batteries with the lightweight jobs so not really a problem, take your pick. |

headlamps are some thing i dont spend much on i have a cheap one and i put it round my bait bucket shining on my rod tips so i dont have to sit there looking at my rods all night and one just to bait up the rest of the time im sat in the dark |

The Lensers still use the same Cree LED's which is what matters so they are no better but if you want spend yer money so be it. |

if your going to buy a lenser have a look at the lenser h14r its a bit more expensive but its a better light and the batterys last A lot longer i use a speleo supa nove and a lenser as a back up both great lights |

Sound advice given here,these lamps are awsome should really come with a government health warning,they could burn yer eye's out ,iv'e owned a few light's but these are by far the best at a fraction of the price.....think before you buy  |

With the Cree LED and not many people know this as it is not stated on the packaging, if you switch it on and then press and hold for about 3-4 seconds it will flash out S.O.S, but please don't play with it on the beach |
