Billy & I started at around 5.30 (HW 6.30). Quite a busy session with small whiting which wanted squid but turned up there noses at mackerel, couldn't get one big enough though. Then Billy gets a couple of more interesting pulls resulting in two of the biggest doggies I have ever seen off Hayling. They were both pregnant so Billy, being a proper angler returned both of them. |

good little session there eccles.well done billy on returning the pregnant doggies.
going to give hayling ago tomorrow eve along by the coastguard station.had a couple of plate size whities this time last year.
just out of interest ,are hermits any good off hayling.got a few left over from a previous chesil trip.

Dunno, never used them, use worm a lot of the time. NB make sure you use squid for the whiting. |

cheers ,was going to cocktail the squid with some black lug.
hopefully put a small whiting livebait on.u never know.

Used then in the summer mick at that mark and had a couple of small smuts 3 to 4lb mark but not tried them this time of year.
