Fished Corton yeasterday (12th) in a small charity match. Everyone caught something, but nobody had any cod 
Match was won with over 3lb of yting. I finishished with 5 yting @ 1lb 12oz.  (think i was 4th!!)
tide was ebbing and there was a bit of weed to start with. match was from 1-4pm. most of the fish came towards the bottom of the tide between 2:30 and 4:00pm. there are still a few crabs about so the bait didn't last long. I used lug and got through 1/2lb using 1 rod and a two hook clipdown rig. |
