cod fishing chesil 3/11/11

fished from 1800 til0200 last nite for cod at abbotsbury, i had 2 whiting 1 ling 10cm long and an eel 40cm, bloke next to me had, 1 pout 1 1/2 lbs, and 2 codling 4lbs all on black lug on a pully rig, at medium range 70-120 meters, angry sea, i also had problems with the sea bed in frount of the walk way to the beach as line kept getting dragged under the sand/shingle crying

,snapped off 6 times and was gutted about it, but good thing is cod are in and 4lds aint a bad size fillet.

hey bud i went to abbotsbury this afternoon and it was rough sea and alot of weed drifting the coast line but wen it started gettin dark i had a few nibbles but no fish and my mate caught 3 whiting but he put 1 back as it was to small but the other 2 were a good size. We were usin squid and makerel cocktail on pulley rigs.
