Hi chaps, I,m staying in kingsdown in a couple of weeks,whats the best method for beach fishing ,best baits etc. and what can i expect to catch happy

I'm assuming that you will be at Kingsdown near Walmer/Deal. You are likely to get plenty of Whiting, a few Doggies and the odd flattie. There seem to be few cod around at the moment.

I use 2 and 3 hook rigs with squid and mackrel or both. People also use lug but I have to say that I've not found them particular good.
I use two rods, usually one long anf one short until I find the right range.

A final point. If you are near the old rifle range/butts it can be snaggy. Good luck!
