Hi guys got a mate who wants to go fishing in the daytime next week but I can't quite see the point as I nearly always blank when I fish the daytime hours on hayling or in the portsmouth areas, so my question is...
a)is there any point going in the day?
b)Is there anywhere in the area that you would recommend for during the day?
Cheers |

No point in bothering this time of year. You might still find the odd gurnard at range or bass after a storm but with the winter species likely to be here soon night time is best by far. |

try using big mackeral baits ,heads,/tail section on a running ledger/pulley rig.or if you can, live bait pout.lw time is usually best or slack water at hw,some big bass still around.
