I was talking to a local Canvey skipper who mentioned that a few trawlers have picked up some codling up river which means they are on their way in!!!

Hopefully we will have a better coddie season that 2010

Heres to hoping they hurry up as i cant wait to get out amonst them again lol daydreaming

on my last trip out on the growler on 24/8/11 my mate had a codling of about 40cm

Well done snagger nice little codling to open the account for 2011. Although................. now you have posted this walton will now be rammed up until December lol.

Kevmann the trawlers were not a million miles away from the the point.

Cheers for that Macer. When you say not a million miles from the point, do you mean about 900,000 miles? big grin big grin
