went fishing at 4.00am this morning high water was at 6.00am,fished 2 hours before,till 2 hours after,had 6 codling, 2 whiting,all cought on lug,tiped with squid,on a single long flow rig,

next tide is at 19.00pm, i have got more bait and ready to go again,will need about 10 tins of redbull,to stay awake,, :lol:

fish 2 hrs before high water,7.00pm till 2 hrs after, same rigs, lug, tiped with squid, 4 codling, 1 whiting,

i have now fished both the tides, and am tired as hell,

i have fishing in my blood now,,,,,,,,

Sounds like your marathon session paid dividends. Nice one. It just goes to show that the fish are out there and can be caught if you put in the effort.

spunds like two excellent sessions - I admire your stamina & envy the time you have to go fishing. Have spent weekend decorating landing & assembling new cabin beds for sons - can't compare really.
