Fished Shellness beach on the Isle of Sheppey from 2.30am through to 6.30am. Mild night, little breeze and calm water. High tide at 5.30am.
Was fishing 2 rods. 1 2up flapper (size 1/0) baited with Lug, the other I was trying out a "plaice" type rig with loads of bling and a size 1 hook and lug.

Frankly it was a rubbish night... Blanked with little or no rod activity save the odd tug from a crab stripping my bait.

Spoke to a couple of anglers fishing Leysdown (Green Car Park) on the way home - they had also had nothing.

Very disappointed as I was optimistic for a good nights fishing and first blank in a while - thats reality for you.

This afternoon's job - clean down all my rods, reels and tackle including box ready for fishing the Isle of Wight next Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
