hi all
I've just started fishing again after about twenty years, now the type of fishing I'm wanting to do is pier/rock, but I'm at a loss of what type of rod I need with all the tech changing so much over the last twenty years, I'm looking to spend about 125 pounds, any advice would be great
cheers |

I would go for an uptider as it will be at home on a pier, rocks and boat,b price wise £50
I say this as you didn't mention open beach fishing so I would couple this with an Abu 7000 or 7500 as you have casting capabilities and cranking power for us on the pier or boat.
Cheers
